Simon won’t say what office she’s eyeing, but some speculate she’s looking at running for Attorney General. That’s if Lisa Madigan actually makes a bid for governor. Simon is the daughter of late U.S. Senator Paul Simon, who had a long career in public office, serving as a state representative, state senator, the state’s lieutenant governor, and 22 years in the U.S. Congress.
