Pavel Datsyuk [[ PAV-el DAT-zook ]] tied the game at three with seven minutes and 21 seconds left in the middle period. Jimmy Howard turned aside 21 shots for Detroit, which had won three in-a-row. The teams were a combined 1-for-7 on the power play.
