There seems to be confusion over when people in Illinois will get the right to carry a gun in public. A federal court ordered lawmakers to get a law on the books by June 9th, but Paul Castiglione [[ Kuh-stig-LEE-own ]], with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, says the appellate court has no authority to make that call.

Governor Quinn wants lawmakers to go ahead and pass a bill. He says they should comply with the court order. But, he wants to make sure people aren't allowed to carry a gun in places like schools or churches.
