FFA Week Highlight: Mahomet-Seymour FFA Operates Student-Run Feed Store

The Mahomet-Seymour Chapter of the FFA has a unique way of raising money for their students.

The Chapter is one of just two in the state that have a student run feed store. President of the Mahomet-Seymour FFA Chapter, Caleb Shobe explains they offer just about any feed for any animal you may have on your farm or in your home.

The store is located in the Mahomet-Seymour High School Building. Shobe explains new school security regulations do not allow them to keep the door open, but they operate in the school and Shobe notes they have are usually stocked full of feeds.

Shobe explains students operate and run different parts of the store. The FFA's feed store is a part of their ag-business class.
