Bulls star Derrick Rose says he believes the organization is trying to win a championship.

Rose, who's recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee, says in a statement that management's goals "have been the same as mine and that is to bring another championship to this city."

His comment comes after older brother Reggie ripped the Bulls, telling ESPNChicago.com they don't have the talent to compete for a championship and that their decision to stand pat before Thursday's trade deadline could be a "big factor" in whether Derrick returns this season from a knee injury.

Reggie Rose, who insisted he was speaking for himself, wondered why the Bulls made no moves when "all roads to the championship lead through Miami."

The Suns sent Sebastian Telfair to the Raptors for Hamed Haddadi and a second-round pick. The Heat received the rights to Ricky Sanchez from the Grizzlies for Dexter Pittman and a second-round pick. The Hawks got Dahntay Jones from the Mavericks for Anthony Morrow. The Warriors dealt point guard Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia and center Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta, both for future second-round draft picks.
