Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at 7:25 pm on 2/21/13 revealed that Heather Kleist, 19, Clinton, was traveling northbound on US Highway 51 when she lost control due to snowy weather conditions. Kleist began to fishtail, overcorrected the steering wheel, which caused her to collide with a mailbox and continue approximately 100 feet into the same property owner’s yard striking a tree. Striking the mailbox caused damage to all parts of the driver’s side and striking the tree caused the front bumper to crack. No injuries were claimed or noticed. No citations were issued as a result of the accident.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL FOUND GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
