(St. Louis, MO) -- Running back Steven Jackson's career with the St. Louis Rams could be coming to an end. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the 29-year-old will void the final year of his contract and become a free agent when the new league year starts on March 12th. Jackson is scheduled to make seven-million-dollars for the 2013 season. He has eclipsed the one-thousand yard mark for eight straight seasons and rushed for over 10-thousand yards with 56 touchdowns in his career. Jackson has never played for a winning team.

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The draft stock of Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o [[ MAN-tye TAY-oh ]] may be taking a hit at the NFL Combine. Te'o posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.82 seconds during Monday's linebacker workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Missouri's Zaviar Gooden posted the fastest time among linebackers at 4.47 seconds.

(Foxborogh, MA) -- Tom Brady is set to finish his career with New England. SI.com's Peter King reports the veteran quarterback has agreed to a three-year contract extension that will keep him with the Patriots through 2017 when Brady is 40 years old. The deal is worth a cap friendly 27-million-dollars, less than half his estimated value on the open market. Brady has led the Patriots to five Super Bowls and three championships in his ten seasons as the team's starting quarterback.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The Philadelphia Eagles are cutting ties with defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins. They have released the 32-year-old after two seasons in Philadelphia. Jenkins had nine-and-a-half sacks while starting all 32 games the last two years. He spent his first seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Jenkins was due to make 5.5-million-dollars in 2013.
