Rep Sacia adds Chicago lawmakers have been holding up the concealed carry measure for far too long with their demands for gun-free zones.

The debate comes after rare moves by Democrats to push bills out of committee and allow them to be heard on the floor first. One lawmaker expressed concern over the move, saying the gun debate should have followed proper procedure. He calls the debate a waste of time and thinks he and his colleagues should be focusing on pension reform and passing a state budget.
