(Jupiter, FL) -- The Cardinals have shutdown shortstop Rafael Furcal with an elbow injury. The veteran is recovering from a torn ligament in his right elbow. The "Post-Dispatch" reports that Furcal had a setback with the ailment. He's expected to be re-evaulated today.
