Medical Marijuana Proposal Advances In House

State reps are preparing for a debate on medical marijuana. Representative Lou Lang says allowing sick people to use the drug will cut down on a lot of headaches.

Rep. Lang says the latest bill would allow some sick people to buy two-and-a-half ounces of marijuana every 14-days

Lang hasn't been able to get enough votes in previous years to pass the proposal. But, he says he hopes to convince the new state reps that this is an important issue. A House committee passed the bill with bi-partisan support.
