Juan Uribe [[ yoo-REE-bay ]], Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier all singled in runs for Los Angeles, which avoided the three-game sweep. Shortstop Hanley Ramirez left the game in the ninth after getting hit by a pitch for the second time in the contest. J.P. Howell got the win in relief of Clayton Kershaw, who allowed three runs in seven innings. Kenley Jansen picked up save number 28. Trevor Rosenthal took the loss. Peter Bourjos tied the game at three with a two-run homer in the sixth.

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Josh Collmenter tossed seven innings of one-run ball as the Diamondbacks clipped the Cubs 3-2 at Chase Field to complete a three-game sweep. Collmenter improved to 8-and-5 while David Peralta went 2-for-4 with two RBI as Arizona won its fourth in five games. Addison Reed notched his 23rd save in the win. Jake Arrieta [[ air-ee-ET-uh ]] allowed three runs over six-and-two-thirds innings but fell to 5-and-2 for Chicago. Anthony Rizzo hit his 23rd homer and Arismendy Alcantara doubled in a run as the Cubs lost their fifth straight.

(Chicago, IL) -- Matt Dominguez and Jose Altuve [[ al-TOO-vay ]] each hit a two-run homer as the Astros dropped the White Sox 11-7 from U.S. Cellular Field. Dominguez knocked in four runs for Houston, which avoided the three-game sweep. Marwin Gonzalez added three hits and two runs batted in for the 'Stros. Tony Sipp picked up the win. Jose Abreu had two hits, a run and an RBI for Chicago. Daniel Webb took the loss.
