Jared Parker, 16, Oreana was issued a citation for Reckless Driving. Parker was issued a notice to appear and was released.

Investigation into the scene of an accident that occurred on 7/23/14 at 1100 A.M revealed that Kenneth Peterson, 53, Lincoln was traveling southbound on Kenney Road (County Highway 7) when a vehicle was driving northbound in the southbound lane. Peterson went onto the right shoulder and the other car passed. Peterson went back to the left and partially in the ditch. Peterson attempted to steer back onto the roadway. Upon entering the roadway, the trailer, which was loaded with corn, tipped to the left and rolled onto its side, causing the tractor portion to also roll onto its driver’s side. Peterson’s vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side, the roof and the front. The vehicle was towed from the scene. There were no reported injuries and the driver refused medical treatment.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL FOUND GUILTY IN A COURT O LAW.
