Congressman Plead With NCAA To Minimize Sanctions Against Penn State

 width=Five Pennsylvania congressman are urging the NCAA to reduce its sanctions against Penn State.  The NCAA punished the university and its football program in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal.  U.S. Congressman Charles Dent and four other lawmakers sent a letter to the NCAA Friday, asking for the elimination of a 60-million-dollar fine as well the restoration of football scholarships.  The NCAA has yet to release a comment.
