State Fair Manager Amy Bliefnick [[ Bleef-nick ]] was recently hit with a code of ethics violation after accepting free beer tickets from a fair vendor. She says she didn't realize she was breaking the law.

Bliefnick handed the tickets out to senior officers at the Department of Ag, members of her staff, and people who were volunteering at the fair. She was ordered to pay a one-thousand-dollar-fine and she served a two-day suspension, without pay.
