(Cleveland, OH) -- Minnestota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love is reportedly set to join superstar LeBron James in Cleveland. Yahoo Sports reports Minnesota will trade Love to the Cavaliers for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick. Love will reportedly sign a five-year, 120-million-dollar contract extension with the Cavs. The trade cannot be finalized until August 23rd due to league rules. It's expected the blockbuster trade will vault the Cavaliers to front-runner status to win an NBA championship. Wiggins was the number=one pick in this year's NBA Draft.

(Undated) -- The U.S. men's basketball team will not have NBA superstar Kevin Durant at this month's FIBA World Cup in Spain. The Oklahoma City forward has withdrawn his name from roster consideration after being with the team in training camp last week in Las Vegas. Durant cited time and energy as the reason behind the decision, saying he needs to recharge mentally and physically for the upcoming NBA season.

Meanwhile, the "New York Daily News" reports Durant is close to signing a long-term endorsement deal with Under Armor that would pay him as much as 30-million-dollars annually. Durant's seven-year, 60-million-dollar deal with Nike is set to expire. Under Armor is headquartered in Durant's home state of Maryland.
