Investigation into the scene of an accident that occurred on 8/11/14 at 11:23 A.M revealed that Patsy Canada, 57, Maroa was traveling eastbound on Illinois State Route 54 when she struck Morgan Buggar, 18, Kenney traveling southbound onto Kenney Road. Canada Reported that she was traveling approximately 54 MPH and Buggar pulled out in front of her. Buggar stated she was unsure of what happened. Seatbelts were worn by all involved. Buggars vehicle was towed from the scene due to damage by Zeigler’s Towing to Zeigler’s Towing. Canadas vehicle was towed by Baum’s Towing to Baum’s. Buggar and passenger were transported by DeWitt County EMS to St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. Canada and passenger were transported by Logan County EMS to Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton, Illinois. Buggar was issued a Citation for Failure to Yield-Stop or Yield Intersection. Canada was issued a Citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle.
