 width=Monticello's Allerton Park has unveiled new artwork for their visitors.

Allerton Park has partnered with the Champaign Public Art League to bring its first new piece of artwork in over seventy years. Matt Smith, with Allerton Park, says the sculpture will be at the park for two years and hopes it will blend into the various art themes throughout the park.

There are numerous pieces of art already scattered throughout Allerton Park but Smith explains the art is not limited to just physical pieces. Various gardens and walls have been created they like to consider works of art.

Smith encourages visitors to take a walking tour of the various works of art around the park. He says you may be surprised by all of the unexpected sights you'll see.
