(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears will be without tight end Zach Miller this season. He suffered a season-ending foot injury on Thursday against the Jaguars and was placed on injured reserve on Friday. The team filled the roster spot vacated by Miller by signing receiver Kofi Hughes.

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears are bringing in former Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes. The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Chicago. He made 23 catches for 456 yards and a touchdown in 11 games last year with New York after playing in just four games in the 2012 season.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams will be without running back Isaiah Pead for the upcoming season. Pead suffered a torn ACL to his left knee following a kickoff return in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason contest against the Packers. The 24-year-old was involved in a non-contact situation when the injury occurred and head coach Jeff Fisher told reporters that it appears he is lost for the season.

(Green Bay, WI) -- The Packers are back to work this week following Saturday's preseason win in St. Louis. Aaron Rodgers finished 11-of-13 for 128 yards and a touchdown to Randall Cobb as the Packers beat the Rams 21-7. The Packers will practice today and tomorrow before taking Wednesday off. They will practice Thursday before hosting the Oakland Raiders on Friday in their preseason home opener.
