This weekend will present one of Lincoln's most popular annual events with a full weekend of fun.
The Lincoln Art and Balloon Festival will feature plenty of activities for visitors. Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder explains the festivities will include a balloon fly-in at the Logan County airport to start Saturday with a little competition going on among the balloonists.

Saturday morning will also see many events taking place in the downtown area. The Lincoln Public Library will hold a used book sale from 9-5. According to Mayor Snyder, the Art and Craft fairs will resume in Scully Park and Latham Park.

Sunday is a much quieter day as many of the festivities shift exclusively to downtown Lincoln. The Lincoln Park District holds a 5K and the Mayor says Sunday, there is a car show on the square.
