Jeremy Johnson will start the Tigers opener on Saturday against Arkansas, but made clear Marshall will still play. He wouldn't reveal what the plan was for Marshall, who helped Auburn reached the BCS National Championship Game last season. The Tigers were defeated by Florida State. Marshall received a marijuana citation in the offseason. Johnson is a sophomore and had 422 yards passing with six touchdowns in 2013 with limited action.

Sarkisian says Shaw remains adamant about what occurred, and says an investigation into the alleged incident is ongoing.
