>>Story Of USC Football Player's Injury May Be Fabricated

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The story involving a USC football player injuring himself while saving the life of his young nephew is being called into question. Trojans head coach Steve Sarkisian initially called Josh Shaw's actions "heroic," but the university has now received calls claiming Shaw has fabricated the story, but Sarkisian is backing his player at the moment. Shaw initially said he injured both ankles when he jumped from a second-story balcony to save his seven-year-old nephew from a swimming pool last weekend. Sarkisian says Shaw remains adamant about what occurred, and says an investigation into the alleged incident is ongoing.
