As heard on The Big 1520 AM and 92.3 FM WHOW, Flanagan-Cornell defeated the Clinton Maroons 13-12 in non-conference football Friday night.

For the Maroons (0-1), Tanner White went 3-10, throwing 118 yards with a touchdown. He also carried the ball 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Alex Wheat carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards. Alec Coley carried the ball 12 times for 32 yards. Eli Logue had three catches for 118 yards.

For Flanagan-Cornell (1-0), Coty Johnson went 4-13, throwing for 62 yards and two interceptions. Austin Dutko carried the ball 29 times for 177 yards.

The next Maroons broadcast will be next Friday night as the Maroons go to Fithian-Oakwood to play the Comets on WHOW.
