State To Start Accepting Medical Marijuana Apps

People with things like cancer, HIV, Aids, Chrohn's Disease, MS, and seizure disorders can start applying for a medical marijuana license tomorrow.  The state will start accepting applications from those whose last names begin with letters A through L.  They'll need to have a prescription from their doctor in order to get the license.  They'll also need to submit fingerprints and get a background check.  The Department of Health will have up to 30-days to review the application.  Patients who are approved will be allowed to get up two-and-a-half ounces of medical marijuana every two-weeks.
