It looks like SIU Carbondale may be out of a recruitment slump.  Officials say they have 25 more students coming in this year than they did last year.  That may not seem like a lot but the school has seen a drop in its enrollment over the last nine years.  There are 18-thousand students enrolled this year, more than 26-hundred are freshmen.  Another 18-hundred-40 are international students.
