Horschel Moves Into Top 25 in World Rankings

width=Billy Horschel earned his second PGA Tour win on Sunday at the BMW Championship and he jumped into the top 25 in this week's world rankings.

Horschel jumped 22 spots to No. 23 thanks to his 2-shot win at Cherry Hills Country Club. Meanwhile, European Tour winner David Lipsky skyrocketed 215 spots to No. 154 this week.

Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott remained Nos. 1 and 2 in the new rankings. Sergio Garcia shared fourth place behind Horschel, and that helped Garcia move up one spot to third in the rankings. That move pushed Henrik Stenson down a notch to fourth.

Justin Rose held steady in fifth and he was followed by BMW runner-up Bubba Watson, who jumped three to No. 6. Jim Furyk stayed at seven, Jason Day slipped a pair to eight and Matt Kuchar was down one to ninth.

Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler and Martin Kaymer remained No. 10, 11 and 12. Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods exchanged places with Spieth up to 13. Zach Johnson followed Woods at No. 15.

Dustin Johnson moved to 16th as Graeme McDowell fell one to 17th. Jimmy Walker climbed one to 18 and that bumped Hideki Matsuyama to 19. Hunter Mahan rounded out the top 20 again this week.
