U.S. Senator Dick Durbin says ISIS seems to be much more dangerous than Al-Qaeda.

Durbin says there are some serious differences between ISIS and other terrorist groups that have existed in the past.

Durbin says the U.S. can't stand by and ignore the threat of ISIS, considering they've beheaded two American journalists in the past several weeks. He says the U.S. is taking serious steps to bring those involved in the beheadings to justice. A White House spokesman said the President is not contemplating sending U.S. combat forces into Iraq or Syria. Durbin agrees with that sentiment, saying the U.S. is war weary, but must also take security threats seriously.
