The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce Haunted House, closed down by fire officials last year due to a lack of a sprinkler system, is getting a new sprinkler system that will be completed in time for this year's Haunted House which opens October 10.

Chamber executive director Marian Brisard tells dewittdailynews.com that water for the new sprinkler system has been ran into the building on East Washington Street, and will hopefully be completed next week.  Following that, a local plumber will be connecting the water supply to the new sprinkler system, then Automatic Fire Sprinkler, the vendor who installed the new sprinkler system, will come and complete their installation.

The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce Haunted House will operate on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm to 11pm October 10 thru November 1st, at their building at 513 East Washington Street.
