Crews were on scene for approximately two hours. Right now Chief Jiles speculates the cause could be electrical, however, an investigation is ongoing. He adds the owner of the home was not in the house at the time of the fire but was nearby.

Crews from Clinton and Maroa came to the scene and Wapella brought a tanker. Warrensburg was brought as a stand by at the Kenney Fire Station.
