Clinton Chamber Continues Preparations For Opening of Haunted House

width=With the fall decorations beginning to crop up across the area, one of the top rated Haunted House's from just a few years ago that was shut down is continuing to prepare for their grand reopening.

Late last summer it was announced the Clinton Chamber's Haunted House, Terror on Washington Street, would have to close for the season. Now they are readying for a reopening just over a year later. Executive Director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Marian Brisard says they have received a great amount of support from their board and the community.

Organizers of the Haunted House are targeting October 10 as the opening day. While things are certainly going in a positive direction right now, Brisard notes they aren't out of the woods yet. There are still several things that need to come together before they entertain guests.

width=For the several weekends the Haunted House operates, it requires dozens of volunteers. In years past, Brisard indicates they have been fortunate enough to have several area groups that step up. While the Haunted House is a fundraiser for the Chamber, it is also a fundraiser for the groups that get involved.
