Homecoming Week Highlighted By Football Game, Dance

 width=The 2014 Homecoming week at Clinton High School is set to conclude today with the annual parade and football game Friday.

High School Principal Jerry Wayne indicates the students this year have planned a week full of activities and of course each class has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their floats for the annual parade.

The Homecoming parade is a great way for the community to find themselves at the center of the festivites that conclude the week. According to Wayne, the parade will feature the high school band, with the homecoming king and queen along with several of the sports teams highlighted as well.

Friday night, the Maroons take on Central A&M at Clinton High School. The Maroons are 1-2 on the season and are in the midst of their inaugural year in the Central Illinois Conference.

The homecoming dance will conclude the week Saturday night.
