Prosecutors in central Illinois have charged a man in connection with the discovery of a Decatur woman's body in a shed.
Reports indicate Bradley D. Perkins, 40, is charged in Sangamon County with concealment of a homicidal death.. Prosecutors said more charges may be coming.
The skeletal remains of 43-year-old Tracy Trimby were discovered in July in a backyard shed in the village of Rochester, outside Springfield, by a resident who was cleaning.
Perkins, originally of Rochester, is the only suspect in the case, said Sangamon County state's attorney John Milhiser.
He recently relocated to Utah and had been in custody there on an unrelated DUI warrant. He was brought back to Sangamon County several weeks ago, Milhiser said.
Perkins is being held in the Sangamon County Jail on $250,000 bond. He was scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday.
It was not immediately clear if he already had an attorney.
