Tuesday night’s high school volleyball match saw the Clinton Lady Maroons volleyball team lose two close games to the Central A&M Raiders falling 20-25 and 22-25 respectively.

Jessica Scott and Haley Ginger each had an ace on the night. Ginger also contributed twelve digs for the Lady Maroons. Taylor Filkin and Alexis Estes put up three blocks apiece. Filkin also recorded five kills on the evening. Michaela Elliott finished with six assists.

Coach Megan Mitchell said “Yeah, we played tough (but) just couldn’t quite get there.”
