The Clinton Lady Maroons volleyball team improved to 2-7 on the season and snapped a seven game losing streak Monday against Monticello. The Lady Maroons won in three games going 17-25, 25-14 and 25-18.
Only five of the Lady Maroons varsity squad members made it on the stat sheet but it was enough. Haley Ginger had four aces and twenty-five digs. Jessica Scott recorded five kills on the night. Taylor Filkin also had five kills and added three blocks. Payton Bieber also had three blocks. Michaela Elliott finished the night with fourteen assists.
