Clinton Rotary Makes Strong Showing Once Again at Apple and Pork Festival

width=An annual favorite at the Apple & Pork Festival was once again a big hit at this past weekend's 46th annual event.

Many local non-profits, including the local Clinton Rotary chapter saw long lines form to purchase their exceptional pulled pork sandwiches throughout the weekend. Russ Utterback with Clinton Rotary, explains over 30 Rotarians and several members of the XL Interact Club come together for the two days of Apple & Pork.

Rotary is a worldwide non-profit organization and the group dedicates themselves to improving their local community while also focusing on national and international issues. According to Utterback, some of those include curing polio and working with the foreign exchange student program.

The Clinton Rotary meets on a weekly basis for lunch and hears from non-profits and different organizations across the community and in many meetings will decide who they support financially.
