(Green Bay, WI) -- NFC North rivals share the Thursday night spotlight as the Minnesota Vikings play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Both teams are 2-and-2. The Vikings are coming off a 41-28 win over the Falcons on Sunday. Making his first NFL start in place of the injured Matt Cassel, rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was 19-of-30 for 317 yards before suffering an ankle injury. He is listed as questionable for tonight. Green Bay blew out the Bears 38-17 Sunday night in Chicago behind four TD passes from Aaron Rodgers. The Packers and Vikings tied 26-all in their last meeting last November.

>>Vikings' Bridgewater Questionable For Packers Game

(Eden Prairie, MN) -- The status of Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater for Thursday's game at Green Bay is still up in the air. He was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough after sitting out the previous two days to heal a sprained ankle suffered Sunday against Atlanta. In his first career NFL start, Bridgewater was injured in the fourth quarter. He is listed as questionable for the Packers game on the Vikings final injury report. If Bridgewater can't go, Christian Ponder would get the start under center instead. Original starter Matt Cassel is out for the season with a broken foot suffered in Week Two.

width=>>Jared Allen Confident He'll Be Back This Week

Jared Allen is confident he will be ready to play this week for the Chicago Bears after missing a game because of pneumonia.

The five-time Pro Bowl defensive end is feeling "much better" after sitting out Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. He returned to practice Wednesday on a limited basis and hopes to be ready when the Bears visit the Carolina Panthers this week.

There was more good news on the illness and injury front for the Bears. Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall (ankle) went through a full practice, as did safety Chris Conte (shoulder).

Center Roberto Garza and left guard Matt Slauson, sidelined since the opener by ankle injuries, were limited as was defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion).

>>Bears Sign Cornerback, Waive Linebacker

The Chicago Bears have signed cornerback Teddy Williams from Arizona's practice squad and waived linebacker Terrell Manning.

The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Williams has appeared in 10 games over two seasons with Indianapolis (2012) and Arizona (2013) and seen time on offense (wide receiver), defense (cornerback) and special teams.

Manning played in two games for the Bears this season and saw time on special teams. He has appeared in eight games over three seasons with Green Bay (2012), San Diego (2013) and Chicago (2014).

The moves were announced on Wednesday.

(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Rams are settling their quarterback situation. Head coach Jeff Fisher has named Austin Davis the team's starter for the rest of the season. Veteran Shaun Hill started a Week One loss to the Vikings, but injured his quad late in the first half and has not played since. In his first NFL start, Davis led the team to a road win at Tampa Bay in Week Two and helped the Rams to a 21-0 lead on the Cowboys in Week Three before Dallas rallied for a 34-31 win. Head coach Jeff Fisher had maintained that Hill would start if healthy but now says Hill didn't lose the job, Davis earned it with his performance. Coming off their bye week, the 1-and-2 Rams play the 3-and-1 Eagles this Sunday in Philadelphia.

>>Cowboys' Spillman Being Investigate For Sexual Assault

(Undated) -- Dallas Cowboys defensive back C.J. Spillman is reportedly being investigated for an alleged sexual assault. The "New York Daily News" reports Spillman is being investigated for sexually assaulting a woman at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, the Cowboys' official hotel, on September 20th. The attack came just a day after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's news conference during which he promised to improve the league's personal conduct policy based on recent events. Spillman is in his first season with the Cowboys. The 28-year-old has played in 73 career games over seven NFL seasons with San Diego, San Francisco and Dallas.

>>Panthers Alexander Suspended 10 More Games

(Charlotte, NC) -- Carolina Panthers defensive end Frank Alexander will miss more football this season. Alexander, who was scheduled to return from a four-game suspension on Wednesday, will miss an additional 10 games. The 24-year-old violated the league's substance abuse policy for his first suspension and a second violation will keep him out until mid-December. Alexander was expected to fill in for Greg Hardy, who was placed on the commissioners exempt list following his domestic violence case. The former Oklahoma Sooner has three-and-a-half sacks in his first two seasons with the Panthers and has appeared in 24 games with six starts.

>>Cardinals' Palmer Sees Shoulder Specialist

(Tempe, AZ) -- The Arizona Cardinals may play another game without starting quarterback Carson Palmer. The veteran signal-caller was excused from Wednesday's practice to see a specialist about his ailing right shoulder. Palmer has missed the team's last two games due to a nerve issue in his throwing shoulder. Head coach Bruce Arians says Palmer has regressed since a pair of extensive throwing sessions last week, but has yet to be ruled out for this Sunday's game at Denver. Backup Drew Stanton has started the last two games, leading the now 3-and-0 Cardinals to wins over the Giants and 49ers.
