One of the most popular items at the Clinton Apple & Pork Festival are the pork chops provided by the Clinton FFA Alumni.

Steve Mayfield, alumnus of FFA, explains the proceeds from their pork chops and riblets have been the major fundraiser each year for the organization. He adds the food is made by a well-oiled machine of current members and alumni.

Mayfield notes the FFA alumni are very enthusiastic about the future of the organization. He also appreciates the effort given by FFA advisor Jamison Holt throughout the last school year. Events such as Apple & Pork help to bring even more exposure to groups such as this.

Despite the popularity of the FFA pork chops, Mayfield insists on keeping the exact recipe a secret.
