(St. Louis, MO) -- The Cardinals and Dodgers resume their National League Division Series with Game Three tonight at Busch Stadium. John Lackey starts for St. Louis opposite LA's Hyun-Jin Ryu [[ ree-OO ]]. The best-of-five matchup is even at one. The Cardinals will also host Game Four tomorrow.

(Kansas City, MO) -- The Kansas City Royals are into the American League Championship Series for the first time since winning the World Series in 1985. Alex Gordon had a three-run double in the first inning and Eric Hosmer hit a two-run homer in the third as the Royals beat the Angels 8-3 to sweep the best-of-five ALDS at Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City will take on the Orioles in the best-of-seven ALCS starting Friday in Baltimore. The O's swept the Detroit Tigers earlier Sunday to advance. Mike Moustakas added a solo homer and James Shields tossed six innings of two-run ball for the win. Mike Trout and Albert Pujols both went deep for the Halos. C.J. Wilson allowed three runs while recording just two outs in the first inning to suffer the loss.

(Detroit, MI) -- The Orioles are heading to the ALCS for the first time since 1997 after completing a three-game sweep of the Tigers with a 2-1 victory in the American League Division Series at Comerica Park. Nelson Cruz launched a two-run homer in the sixth and Baltimore held on late to advance. Bud Norris pitched six-and-a-third innings of two-hit ball while Zach Britton earned the save despite allowing a J.D. Martinez RBI double in the ninth. The O's will square of with the Kansas City Royals for a spot in the World Series. KC swept the Angels in the other ALDS. David Price gave up the two runs over eight innings to suffer the loss for Detroit, which managed just four hits.
