Top Democrats Stump For Quinn At First Lady Rally

Illinois' top Democrats have joined first lady Michelle Obama at a rally for Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn's re-election bid.

Speakers include several office holders seeking re-election on Nov. 4, including U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, Attorney General Lisa Madigan and other constitutional officials. Chicago-area congressmen Danny Davis and Jan Schakowsky were also among the speakers.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle told thousands filling the Pavilion at the University of Illinois at Chicago on Tuesday that she interacted with Quinn's Republican challenger Bruce Rauner (ROW' nur) when he wanted a position on a health board. She says she didn't choose him and doesn't regret it.

Obama was in Wisconsin earlier in the day and attended a fundraiser at a Chicago restaurant.
