WHOW's 92.3 FM Repeater To Be Off the Air Today To Complete Antenna Project

WHOW's 92.3 FM repeater will be off the air today for about 2 hours, as tower crews complete the on-the-ground portion of the station's recent project to move that station's antennas up another 80 feet on the tower.

The antennas were moved to 280 feet above ground on the WHOW/WEZC tower last week, but the on-the-ground work to replace cabling was not finished.  That work will take place today.

As a result, WHOW's 92.3 FM signal will be off the air after 10am today, for about 2 hours.

This outage does not affect WHOW THE BIG 1520 AM, WHOW's on-line stream, or WEZC 95.9 FM.
