Obama To Push Early Voting At Quinn Rally

President Barack Obama will urge people to vote early - and vote for Gov. Pat Quinn - during a stop in Chicago.

Obama is scheduled to appear at a rally for Quinn Sunday night at Chicago State University.

The Chicago Democrat in a tight contest for Illinois governor with Republican businessman Bruce Rauner (ROW'-nur) of Winnetka.

On Monday, voters may start casting ballots for the Nov. 4 election at early voting locations across Illinois.

Obama's visit is part of a swing of campaign stops he's doing for Democrats in states the president won in 2008 and 2012.

Jon Thompson is spokesman for the Republican Governors Association. He says Republicans offer a focused plan to create jobs and "look forward to these (Democratic) candidates embracing Obama's failed agenda."
