An Illinois group is releasing more ratings of judges seeking retention or running in contested races in November.
The latest ratings from the Illinois Civil Justice League out Friday focus on central Illinois.
Of approximately 20 judges assessed, the majority were "highly recommended" or "recommended."
One circuit judge in the 11th district, Charles Reynard, was "not recommended." The organization did not provide details about why. A telephone message seeking comment from Reynard wasn't immediately returned.
Ratings of judges in southern Illinois were released earlier this month. Ratings for northern Illinois judges will be released soon.
Illinois Civil Justice League is a coalition of citizen, business and professional associations. The league is posting ratings and responses to questionnaires from candidates on its website, www.IllinoisJudges.net.
