 width=>>Florida Sticking With Muschamp, For Now

(Gainesville, FL) -- Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley says the university is sticking behind football coach Will Muschamp, for now. Following a 42-13 beat down at the hands of Missouri on Saturday, Foley says they will continue to evaluate Muschamp's status as the season unfolds. The Gators fell to 3-and-3 and own a 2-and-3 SEC record after the loss. Muschamp is in his fourth season at Florida and went 4-and-8 last year. He's 25-and-19 overall with a 15-and-14 record in conference play.

(Undated) -- Florida State will not have quarterback Jameis Winston next season. CBSSports reports Winston will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft but won't drop out of school. The redshirt sophomore has been the center of multiple off the field issues, including a recent autograph scandal. He was also involved in a sexual abuse case from 2012. The Heisman Trophy winning QB is looking to guide FSU to its second straight national title.

(Undated) -- Mississippi State is still atop the latest "USA Today" college football top-25 poll. The Bulldogs remain 6-and-0 after a bye week and gained 36 first-place votes. After beating Notre Dame at home, Florida State remains second followed by Ole Miss, Alabama and Michigan State. Auburn is sixth and Oregon is seventh while the Fighting Irish fell to eighth down from fifth. Georgia and TCU round out the top-ten. Baylor took the biggest fall from fourth to 13th. Oklahoma State, Stanford and Texas A&M all fell out while LSU, Minnesota and West Virginia joined the poll.
