The City of Clinton, and sections south of the city, went without power early Wednesday afternoon. Ameren customers lost power at 12:25 Wednesday afternoon. Power was restored to those who lost power, about an hour later at 1:25 in the afternoon. It's not known what caused Wednesday's Clinton power outage.
