>>Georgia's Gurley Seeking Reinstatement

(Athens, GA) -- Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley is seeking reinstatement from his indefinite suspension for an alleged violation of NCAA rules. The junior has missed the last two games while the school conducted an investigation after reports he may have autographed memorabilia for cash. Gurley issued an apology on Wednesday, taking responsibility for the mistakes he's made and thanking the school, coaches, teammates and fans for their support.  width=He was a top Heisman candidate after five games this season, rushing for 773 yards and eight touchdowns. Gurley also returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score. The ninth-ranked Bulldogs have a bye this Saturday. They play Florida next Saturday at Jacksonville's EverBank Field.

(Gainesville, FL) -- Police at the University of Florida are releasing their report into allegations that quarterback Treon Harris sexually assaulted a woman in a campus dorm. Harris was never arrested and the alleged victim dropped her claim. Included in the report is a text exchange between Harris and the woman. In one message, Harris told her, quote, "Don't tell nobody bout nothing." The woman claims she rejected Harris's advances several times but he says the sex was consensual. Harris will start for Florida in the November 1st game against Georgia.

(Gainesville, FL) -- The Florida Gators are making a switch at quarterback. Head coach Will Muschamp announced that true freshman Treon Harris will start the team's next game a week from Saturday against ninth-ranked Georgia in Jacksonville. Fourth-year junior Jeff Driskel heads to the bench after throwing nine interceptions and losing two fumbles in the last four games. Florida is 3-and-3 overall and 2-and-3 in the SEC. Harris is 12-of-18 for 263 yards, three touchdowns and a pick in limited action this season. Earlier this month, he was accused of sexual assault by a woman who later dropped her complaint.
