Lincoln's Harvest of Talents is Underway All Day Saturday

The 31st Annual Harvest of Talents in Lincoln opens their doors this morning.

The Harvest of Talents annually offers a wide variety of handmade items to purchase throughout the morning. Many food vendors will also be on hand in the Lincoln Christian Church parking lot on Harvest Day. According to Harvest of Talents Founder Pat Snyder, today is a great opportunity for folks to come enjoy themselves while helping others in need.

Harvest Chairman Carolyn Neal notes one of the highlights of the day will be the afternoon auction. She explains the most unique donated items will be available for bidding. One special item on the auction block this year will be a pot-bellied pig according to Neal.

All funds raised from this event will go to International Disaster Emergency Service(IDES) which will aid in the fight against world hunger.

Fresh baked Cinnamon and Carmel Pecan Rolls will also be on sale during the morning hours. Doors open for the Harvest of Talents at 7 am at Lincoln Christian Church.
