>>NBA Regular Season Begins Tuesday

(Undated) -- The NBA regular season begins Tuesday night with three games on the schedule. The reigning champion San Antonio Spurs host the Dallas Mavericks at the AT&T Center. The New Orleans Pelicans welcome in the Orlando Magic, and the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Houston Rockets. The Indiana Pacers will start their season without All-Star forward Paul George on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. That's one of 12 games on tap Wednesday. LeBron James makes his return with the Cleveland Cavaliers under new head coach David Blatt on Thursday against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks.

(Indianapolis, IN) --  width=Paul George won't be the only player missing opening night for the Indiana Pacers. Guards C.J. Watson and George Hill and forward David West are also out for Indiana on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. George is recovering from a broken leg he suffered in the offseason while playing with Team USA. Hill is out three weeks with a knee contusion, Watson is out two weeks with a bruised foot and West is sidelined three games due to a sprained ankle.

>>Ex Hawk Blaylock Gets 15 Years

(Undated) -- Ex Atlanta Hawks player Daron "Mookie" Blaylock is pleading guilty to vehicular homicide. He was sentenced to 15 years, but the 47-year-old will only serve three years in prison. Blaylock was involved in a collision in May of 2013 that left a mother dead. The "Journal-Constitution" says the plea deal is seven years in prison and eight on probation, and Blaylock's sentence will be suspended after three years. He is expected to complete 15-hundred hours of community service and receive treatment for alcoholism twice weekly.
