>>Georgia Awaits NCAA Ruling On Gurley
(Athens, GA) -- The status of Georgia running back Todd Gurley remains in limbo, as the university awaits a ruling from the NCAA. Gurley has been on the shelf for nearly three weeks as UGA investigated whether or not he received improper benefits for signing autographs. The school filed paperwork with the NCAA last week to reinstate the star tailback, who has missed two games. Gurley is practicing with the team, but not as a starter. He has rushed for 773 yards and eight touchdowns for the Bulldog, who improved to 6-and-1 during his two-game absence. The Dawgs square off with SEC rival Florida this Saturday in Jacksonville.

(Starkville, MS) -- Top-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott says he is wearing a walking boot merely "for fashion." Prescott told ESPN he is wearing the boot for precautionary reasons, and will be good to go when unbeaten MSU hosts Arkansas on Saturday. The Heisman Trophy hopeful would not speculate any more on the injury. He has thrown for nearly 17-hundred yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 664 yards and 10 more scores.
