(New York, NY) -- The Bulls tip off the regular season tonight at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks. Chicago is looking to make it back to the playoffs after finishing fourth last year at 48-and-34 but losing in the first round in five games to the Wizards. Tonight's tip is set for 7:00.

(New Orleans, LA) -- Anthony Davis racked up 26 points, 17 rebounds and nine blocks as the Pelicans pounded the Magic 101-84 in the season opener at the Smoothie King Center. Ryan Anderson added 22 points and nine boards off the bench, while Omer Asik [[ oh-mare AH-shick ]] chipped in with 14 points and 17 boards for the Pelicans, who went 34-and-48 last season. Tyreke Evans recorded 12 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the victory. Nikola Vucevic notched 15 points and 23 rebounds for Orlando, which went just 23-and-59 last year. Tobias Harris had 25 points and eight boards in the setback.

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Lakers rookie forward Julius Randle left Tuesday night's contest against the Rockets with a broken leg. The team confirmed Randle suffered a broken tibia and left STAPLES Center for the hospital. Randle drove to the rim in the fourth quarter and landed awkwardly following his shot. The 19-year-old left the court on a stretcher and finished with two points on 1-of-3 shooting in 14 minutes of work. Randle was selected seventh overall out of Kentucky.
