Blues Win, Blackhawks Lose

(Dallas, TX) -- Vladimir Tarasenko [[ tare-uh-SANK-oh ]] completed a hat trick with a game-winning power play goal in overtime to lift the Blues to a 4-3 win over the Stars at American Airlines Center. Jori Lehtera [[ leh-TARE-uh ]] chipped in a goal and two assists and Kevin Shattenkirk assisted on a pair of goals as well. Brian Elliot stopped 25-of-28 shots as St. Louis moved to 4-3-and-1 with its second straight win. Tyler Seguin [[ SAY-gin ]] netted his seventh goal of the season while Trevor Daley and Jamie Oleksiak also lit the lamp. Kari Lehtonen [[ KAR-ee LET-ih-nin ]] had 23 saves for Dallas, which dropped to 4-2-and-3 on the year.

(Chicago, IL) -- John Gibson made 38 saves for his second career shutout as the Ducks blanked the Blackhawks 1-0 at the United Center. Devante Smith-Pelly scored shorthanded midway through the third period for Anaheim, which leads the NHL at 8-and-2.
