Eastern Illinois Drops Tennessee Tech

 width=Jalen Whitlow threw four touchdown passes, three to Adam Drake, and ran for another score as Eastern Illinois rolled to a 41-10 win over Tennessee Tech on Saturday.

Whitlow completed 19 of 24 passes for 297 yards with Drake catching six for 153, including a 90-yard touchdown early in the third quarter for the Panthers (4-5, 4-1 Ohio Valley Conference). The school record is a 98-yarder from Tony Romo to Will Bumphus in 2000. Drake now has 23 career touchdowns, second in school history.

The Golden Eagles (3-6, 2-4) was limited to 239 yards, 89 through the air.

Eastern Illinois piled up 598 yards, including 301 on the ground, but had four turnovers. Nick Bruno, who had two short field goals, only had to punt once but raced 63 yards to set up his 23-yarder in the fourth quarter.
