The first post-election meeting for the DeWitt County Board was fairly quiet and basic.

Board Member Danny Ballenger updated the Board on a couple issues involving the Clinton Lake Marina. He explained the boat ramp where the new docks are being put together will be closed for nearly a week while construction is completed. He adds all of the boats have been cleared from the area as the project nears completion.

Thursday night's meeting, which lasted 30 minutes also featured:

-Sandy Schlosser, Supervisor of Assessments, inform the Board about updated EAV for the County and landfill.

-Michelle Monaghan appointed to fill an unexpired term on the Zoning Board of Appeals

Board members Keith Koons, Ron Savage and Doug Tucker were absent Thursday evening.
